Manila, Philippines - The Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025, held from April 10 to 13 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, celebrated a landmark 20th anniversary under the theme “Driven by Connection.” Organized by Worldbex Services International (WSI), the event has grown into the Philippines’ most prominent and anticipated motoring exhibition, showcasing the evolution of the automotive landscape both locally and globally.

This year’s edition brought together over 90 exhibitors and displayed more than 200 vehicles, ranging from compact sedans and luxury SUVs to electric and hybrid vehicles. As a launchpad for cutting-edge innovations, MIAS 2025 served as a vital platform for both legacy manufacturers and new players to unveil their latest creations and share their vision for the future of mobility.

One of the major highlights of MIAS 2025 was its strong focus on sustainable and electrified mobility. The recent implementation of zero excise taxes for new energy vehicles in the Philippines further amplified the spotlight on electric and hybrid models. Automakers such as Hyundai, VinFast, BYD, Isuzu, and Suzuki led the charge, introducing a range of new electric vehicles designed for Filipino roads.

Visitors were also introduced to concepts like AI-assisted driving, autonomous features, and other emerging technologies, reflecting the industry's fast-paced shift toward smarter and more sustainable transportation solutions.

The event featured several engaging and interactive attractions, including:

      • Mobility Marathon – A dynamic lineup of vehicle launches and live presentations of new technologies.
      • Custom and Classic Car Competition – Celebrating creativity, engineering, and heritage in car culture.
      • Truck Pavilion – A space dedicated to commercial and heavy-duty vehicles, featuring innovations in logistics and transport.
      • Test Drive Area – Offering visitors a hands-on experience with the latest models from participating brands.
      • Russ Swift Stunt Show – Thrilling the crowd with precision driving from the world-renowned stunt performer.
      • Die-Cast Car Collection – A treat for hobbyists and collectors, showcasing intricate miniatures and model cars.

MIAS 2025 also upheld its tradition of community partnership through continued collaboration with the ABS-CBN Foundation, using the event as a platform to support local initiatives. Industry organizations such as the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), Tuason Racing School (TRS), and the Car Awards Group Inc. (CAGI) lent their support to ensure the event’s educational and technical depth.

Key sponsors included BPI Auto Loans, Petron, and Shell, whose contributions helped elevate the show’s scale and scope.
