Charlotte, North Carolina – Mitas., a brand of Yokohama TWS and a tires manufacturer, has entered the agricultural rubber track segment with the launch of Mitrak, a new range of rubber tracks developed for modern farm machinery operating in tough field conditions. The new offering marks the brand’s first step into this category and reflects its broader aim of delivering a more complete product portfolio for diverse agricultural applications.
Mr. Roberta D’Agnano, Global Marketing Director Mitas at Yokohama TWS, said, “The launch represents an important milestone for the brand as it expands its presence in the agricultural equipment space. She said the introduction of Mitrak underlines Mitas’ ambition to support every application and field condition with a wider range of solutions.”
The Mitrak rubber tracks are designed for long service life and are built with a strong internal structure intended to provide uniform strength throughout the track. Engineered to manage heavy loads and demanding operating environments, the tracks are positioned to deliver reliable and consistent performance even under challenging field conditions.
Mitas said durability is further improved through a special tread compound developed to resist wear, cuts and the everyday stresses commonly encountered in agricultural work. The track body is also reinforced to enhance balance, distribute stress more evenly and maintain smooth, dependable operation across the full contact area.
A key focus of the Mitrak range is soil protection. With low ground pressure and optimized flotation, the tracks are designed to reduce soil compaction while improving traction and field productivity. This combination allows operators to work efficiently over larger areas while helping preserve soil structure, which remains a crucial factor in sustainable farming.
