Decatur, Illinois - Mitas Tires., a brand of Yokohama TWS Czech Republic a.s., has introduced the Agriterra ULTRA, a new trailer tire designed for high-demand agricultural and transport applications. Built to withstand the rigors of manure tankers, forage wagons, and long-haul operations, the tire promises consistent performance both in the field and on the road.
The Agriterra ULTRA is engineered with a reinforced carcass to reduce stress and heat buildup, enhancing durability and stability during extended use. It also offers higher load and speed capacities, making it suitable for farms and contractors operating across long distances. Mitas is backing the tire’s long service life with an extended warranty.
A specialized version, the Agriterra ULTRA Soil Protector, is also being introduced. Equipped with VF (Very High Flexion) technology, it allows up to 40% higher load capacity at lower inflation pressures, helping minimize soil compaction. Its rounded shoulder design further improves performance on grasslands, offering a solution for operators prioritizing soil health and ground care.
