Indonesia- Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation announced that its Indonesian distributor, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors, showcased a range of new products and customer-focused solutions at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2026. The exhibition was held in Jakarta from July 30 to August 9, 2026.
A key highlight of the display was the launch of the new Canter Extra Long Bus, developed to meet increasing demand from tourism operators, public transport providers and intercity passenger-service companies. Based on the established Canter platform, the vehicle is equipped with a 4.2-metre wheelbase that supports flexible body configurations.
Despite its extended wheelbase, the bus is designed to retain a compact turning radius while offering improved ride comfort. These characteristics make it suitable for a wide range of passenger-transport applications and operating environments.
Alongside the new bus, Mitsubishi Fuso displayed four additional vehicles at GIIAS 2026. These included the battery-electric eCanter, the Canter FE 84G light-duty truck, the Fighter X FM65F 4x2 tractor head and the Fighter X FN61FSL logistics package. Together, the vehicles demonstrated the company’s ability to address diverse transportation and logistics requirements across the Indonesian market.
Mitsubishi Fuso also presented several initiatives supporting its “Zero Down Time” approach, which is aimed at maximizing vehicle availability and improving customers’ operational efficiency. The initiatives include 24-hour service support at strategic locations, dedicated service facilities positioned closer to customer operations and expanded spare-parts solutions designed to control maintenance costs without compromising vehicle reliability.
These efforts are supported by Mitsubishi Fuso’s extensive after-sales network and digital-service capabilities in Indonesia. By combining reliable commercial vehicles, accessible service support and new technologies, the company aims to improve fleet productivity and contribute to the sustainable development of Indonesia’s transportation and logistics sector.
