Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), VST Tillers Tractors and Escorts Kubota Limited has released tractor sales report for January 2025.

Mumbai/Bengaluru/Faridabad – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the Mahindra Group and a farming equipment manufacturer, VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, Escorts Kubota Limited., (EKL) an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has announced the tractor sales report for January 2025.
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the Mahindra Group and a farming equipment manufacturer, has released tractor sales figures for January 2025. Domestic sales reached 26,305 units, up from 22,972 units in January 2024. Total tractor sales, including exports, stood at 27,557 units compared to 23,948 units last year. Exports for the month totaled 1,252 units.
Mr. Hemant Sikka, President of Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said, “We have sold 26305 tractors in the domestic market during January’25 at a growth of 15% over last year. Better soil moisture levels due to the above normal southwest monsoon and high-water storage levels in major reservoirs has aided increase in Rabi sowing. In the exports market, we have sold 1252 tractors, a growth of 28% over last year.”
VST Tillers Tractors Ltd., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, sales in January 2025 showed a slight decline compared to the previous year. The company sold 311 tractor units, marking a 4.60% decrease from the 326 units sold in January 2024. However, the Year-to-Date (YTD) performance showed a positive trend, with total tractor sales reaching 4,308 units in 2025, reflecting a 1.87% increase over the 4,229 units sold during the same period in 2024.
Escorts Kubota Limited., (EKL) an agricultural machinery manufacturer, reported a 6.7% drop in tractor sales for January 2025, selling 6,669 units compared to 7,150 last year. Domestic sales fell 10.7% to 6,058 units, while exports surged 66% to 611 units. For April-Jan 2025, total sales declined 1.2% to 95,590 units, with domestic sales down 0.4% to 91,820 units. Exports dropped 18.9% to 3,770 units.
