Las Vegas, United States- Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. (MSI), a computing and technology brand known for nearly four decades of performance-focused engineering, is expanding into EV charging at CES 2026. The company is showcasing MSI EZgo, a rugged, travel-ready portable Level 2 charger designed for both home use and on-the-road charging.

MSI EZgo is designed to stay mounted at home during the week and pack easily into a vehicle for trips. It supports 100–240V input with NEMA 5-15 (120V) and NEMA 14-50 (240V) plug options, delivering up to 40A / 9.6kW when a 240V outlet is available. A 25-foot charging connector and connector options for Type 1 (J1772) or NACS help ensure compatibility across a wide range of EVs.

Instead of forcing drivers to rely on a phone for basic information, EZgo includes a built-in 1.8-inch display that shows key charging details at a glance. Physical buttons allow delay scheduling and manual amperage adjustment directly on the device. For users who prefer app control, MSI aConnect adds Bluetooth pairing and multi-user sharing without “exclusive binding” limitations.

EZgo is engineered for portable charging realities—frequent movement, storage, and unpredictable outdoor environments. The charger features an IP66-rated enclosure for dust and water protection, and MSI notes durability validation including a 2T run-over evaluation to support everyday mishap resistance. The unit also emphasizes electrical safety through compliance with UL 2594 and UL 2231 standards. Materials aligned with UL 94-V0 and UL 746C (F1) are used to support long-term enclosure reliability under heat, sun, and weather exposure.

For convenience, EZgo includes practical accessories such as a home kit (holder, hook, and hardware) for neat storage and a structured carry bag designed for trunk or frunk portability.

Mr. Engin Yoruk, North America Product Manager of EVSE at MSI, said, “Portable charging shouldn’t feel like a compromise. EZgo delivers the power, durability, and smart control drivers want, while keeping it simple and compact enough to use anywhere you can find an outlet.”

Alongside EZgo, MSI is expanding its fixed home-charging lineup with EV Life Premium, the newest addition to the MSI EV Life Series of Level 2 wall chargers. EV Life Premium is designed for everyday charging with up to 14.4 kW (60A) output and supports either hardwired installation or plug-and-play via NEMA 14-50.

The EV Life Series targets demanding indoor and outdoor use, featuring IP55/IP67 protection and IK08 impact resistance. EV Life Premium adds an integrated full-color LCD display for easier on-device navigation and visibility into charging metrics, reducing the need to use a phone for every interaction. It supports both Type 1 (SAE J1772) and Tesla NACS compatibility and works with the MSI aConnect app for scheduling, current adjustment, charging history, and firmware updates.

For more connected and managed installations, EV Life Premium also offers Wi-Fi + Ethernet connectivity, OCPP 1.6J support, and RFID authentication features aimed at improving security and enabling charger management in more advanced home or property setups.

MSI EZgo and EV Life Premium chargers are available now through Amazon and the MSI Store. EZgo includes a 3-year warranty, while EV Life chargers include a 5-year warranty.
