      Illinois, United States- Navistar Inc., today announced its plan to rebrand and change its name to International Motors, LLC ("International"), effective October 1st 2024. The rebranding includes a new logo and visual identity, reflecting a strategic shift towards becoming a solutions provider and enhancing customer experience.

      Mr. Tobias Glitterstam, chief strategy and transformation officer, said, "After more than 120 years, we are choosing to return to our roots as International. International embodies determination, partnership, and collaboration in meeting every challenge with a solution. Our new name and look complement the strategic changes we are making to offer enhanced customer experiences." 

      International is expanding beyond just engineering and producing trucks and buses. The company is shifting its focus to offer a full suite of customer solutions, including parts, maintenance, financing, connectivity, and charging. Their new digital platform, My International, will integrate tools like On Command Connection and International 360, streamlining service contracts, financing, and fleet management to create a more seamless, personalized customer experience.

      Since 2021, International has been undergoing a transformation, marked by milestones like the launch of the S13 Integrated Powertrain, new ownership solutions for battery-electric vehicles, and the return of captive financial services as International Financial.

      International unveiled a refreshed visual identity, inspired by the rhythms of the road. The updated logo, colors, and design elements reflect the flow of traffic and the nuances of urban and rural driving. This new branding will be visible across all digital platforms, future vehicles, and dealership locations.

      Mr. Mathias Carlbaum, president and CEO, said, "The return to International is an acknowledgement of our rich heritage as much as it is an investment in our promising future. The simplified brand structure, distinct visual identity, and clear strategy to more effectively engage with our customers ensure we can lay claim to another 200 years of success and signals a new phase of our company's positioning."
