New Holland, United States- New Holland Construction, is a construction machinery manufacturer that is part of the CNH Industrial N.V., has launched the all-new E90D midi excavator, featuring a powerful 73-horsepower engine the highest in its class setting a new standard for power and efficiency.
The E90D midi excavator features a 4-cylinder, 300-inch displacement engine for superior performance in various applications. Its hydraulic system delivers 42 gallons per minute, allowing operators to run multiple attachments efficiently. Designed for heavy-duty tasks, the E90D offers a dump height of 15 feet and a dig depth of 14 feet, making it ideal for grading, trenching, and site preparation. With a bucket breakout force of 13,000 lbs. and an operating weight of 20,305 lbs., it combines strength and maneuverability, making it perfect for tight job sites.
The E90D midi excavator stands out for its versatility, featuring standard one-way and two-way auxiliary hydraulics, along with a second set for various attachments like hammers and compaction plates. A unique constant flow provision for mulchers ensures efficient operation without sacrificing hydraulic flow for other tools.
Designed for cost-effectiveness, the E90D consumes just 2.5 gallons of fuel per hour while providing 42 gallons per minute of auxiliary hydraulic flow, making it an economical choice for contractors. Its compact footprint allows operation in confined spaces with minimal disruption, ideal for urban projects.
Owners can choose from rubber tracks, steel tracks, or steel tracks with rubber pads for adaptability. Maintenance is made easy with a hydraulic reversible fan that cleans the engine area automatically and a centralized grease container for servicing without leaving the cab.
The E90D midi excavator features a high-tech automotive cab with climate controls for a comfortable work environment. Its ergonomic joystick allows intuitive operation with customizable settings, enhancing productivity during long hours. Operators can adjust breakout forces for the arm, boom, and bucket, ensuring the machine meets their specific needs.
Enhanced visibility is provided by strategically placed LED lights and walk-up lights for low-light conditions. Safety is prioritized with a ROPS- and FOPS-certified cab, rear-view camera, travel alarms, and optional Level 2 ROPS protection for added security.
Additionally, the E90D incorporates New Holland’s FleetForce™ telematics system, enabling remote performance monitoring, maintenance alerts, geofencing, and real-time operational metrics to reduce downtime and optimize efficiency.
