New Holland Expands Light Construction Line with 6-12 Tonne Midi Excavators at EIMA 2024, Featuring One Short-Radius and Four Zero Tail-Swing Models
Date: November 7, 2024France, Europe - CNH Industrial N.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, expanding light construction range with mid-size excavators in the 6-12 tonne segment, enhancing its offerings for diverse user needs in Europe. The lineup includes five models - E70D, E75D, E85D, E90D, and E100D, which are available with rubber or steel tracks. Except for the short-radius E75D, all models feature zero tail swing designs.
The range includes three boom types: a traditional boom on the E70D and E90D for general digging and lifting, a two-piece boom on the E75D and E100D for extended reach and close-range work, and a side boom on the E85D for heavy-duty tasks requiring extra stability and lifting power. The models offer a reach of 6,650-8,040mm, digging depth of 4,020-4,670mm, and dump height of 4,590-6,270mm.
Key features include fully customizable auxiliary hydraulics with adjustable flow, sensitivity, and ramp settings, ideal for powering attachments like mulchers or flail heads. Various quick-couplers cater to customer needs, and a skid-steer travel mode enhances maneuverability.
The E70D and E75D are powered by 60hp engines, while the E85D, E90D, and E100D feature 75hp engines. Operators can choose from three idle settings for fuel efficiency. A hydraulic reversible fan clears debris and maintains engine cooling, with options for automatic, manual, or timed reversal. This quiet system ensures optimal temperature and extends engine life. Additional features include a tiltable cab for easy maintenance and a rear-view camera for enhanced safety.
Features to reduce service time include an onboard fuel transfer pump for easy refueling and an auto-grease option that minimizes manual greasing while extending component life. Operator comforts include an air-suspended seat, automatic climate control, and LED lighting for better visibility in low light. Optional front grid protection adds safety for specific tasks.
