Australia/New Zealand - New Holland., a brand of CNH Industrial and an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has expanded its T7 Heavy Duty (HD) tractor range in Australia and New Zealand with a new 3-metre centre configuration, designed specifically for Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF) operations.
The move responds to growing demand from broadacre, cotton, and horticulture growers who need machinery compatible with fixed tramline systems without compromising power, comfort, or technology.
Mr. Cameron Jordan, Dealer Principal at McIntosh & Son Dalby, said, “Almost all of our broadacre customers operate on dedicated 3-metre centres. This new offering from New Holland allows them to stay within their CTF systems while accessing the performance and reliability of the T7 HD range,” he said.
The T7 HD range delivers up to 340 horsepower, features the spacious Horizon™ Ultra cab, and offers a 750-hour service interval. It also comes equipped with the IntelliView™ 12” monitor and integrated New Holland FieldOps system for machine monitoring and control, making it suitable for demanding tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying, and transport.
Controlled Traffic Farming, a system designed to reduce soil compaction and improve water infiltration, can now be fully implemented with the new 3-metre option while taking advantage of the T7 HD’s capabilities.
