Turin, Italy - New Holland Agriculture., a brand of CNH Industrial N.V., and an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has launched its updated Defensor self-propelled sprayer range for 2026, with availability in Ukraine and Moldova from early next year. The lineup continues with two models, the Defensor 2500 and Defensor 4000, both receiving capacity, performance and technology upgrades.

The Defensor 2500 retains its 2,500-litre tank, while the Defensor 4000 increases capacity from 3,500 to 4,000 litres. Power outputs remain at 215hp and 272hp respectively, delivered by Tier 3 FPT NEF 6.7-litre six-cylinder engines, paired with a 450-litre fuel tank. A new transmission with independent wheel motors provides individual traction control, enabling operating speeds of up to 30km/h, transport speeds of 48km/h and gradient capability of up to 30%.

Access and serviceability have been improved with a revised access platform, folding steps, and redesigned front and rear bonnets for easier maintenance. Inside, the pressurised cab features an activated-carbon filter, increased space and a new multifunction control lever. The Defensor 4000 introduces air suspension, while the 2500 uses active caliper suspension.

All booms are now constructed from stainless steel and include integrated fence nozzles and end-of-bar valves. The IntelliView 12 monitor manages application systems with a new interface and greater processing power, while Intelliheight XRT provides automatic boom height control. Optional features include Intellispray II with PWM nozzle control and a direct injection system for variable-rate application. Integrated telemetry connects the machines to the New Holland FieldOps portal for real-time monitoring and fleet management.
