France, Europe - CNH Industrial N.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, launches The New Holland T5 Dual Command tractor range, featuring five models from 80 to 117hp powered by FPT F36 3.6-litre four-cylinder engines, has received a fresh look and enhanced features aimed at boosting productivity and operator comfort. The updated T5 Dual Command range is being showcased to the public at the Sommet de l Elevage fair 2024 in France.
The updated T5 Dual Command offers a wider rear tire selection and a choice of front axles: a standard unit for lighter tasks or a new HD axle for heavy loader and field work. It also features New Holland's unique SuperSteer™ front axle with a 76° steering angle, enhancing maneuverability on tight turns, small fields, and farmyards. The 2.35m wheelbase combines agility with stability.
The T5 Dual Command tractors with a standard front axle increase steering capacity by 20% for quicker turns, while the HD axle boosts gross vehicle weight to 7,000kg. With 38-inch rear tires, they offer high ground clearance (480mm) and a low height (under 2.67m), reducing crop damage and enhancing building access. The models also feature a 7% lift capacity increase to 4,700kg and a new 82 l/min hydraulic pump for 30% more flow, enabling faster implement engagement and loader cycles.
The new T5 Dual Command models feature a 24F/24R transmission, auto differential lock, and auto 4WD engagement for easier headland turns. A quieter, maintenance-free wet disc front PTO enhances comfort. The updated styling includes new grilles, decals, and a U-shaped exhaust for improved visibility, along with upgraded worklights and optional LED lighting for better safety. The T5 also offers mechanical Comfort Ride cab suspension and a redesigned digital instrument cluster for easier reading.
