Gurugram- Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has announced that its all-new, game-changing seven-seater B-MPV will be named Gravite, with market launch scheduled for early 2026. The Gravite will be the first model introduced under Nissan’s refreshed and strategically restructured product lineup for India, marking a key milestone in the brand’s revival strategy.

Developed specifically for modern Indian families, the Gravite focuses on versatility, modularity, and everyday practicality. It is designed to deliver maximum convenience and space efficiency for value-conscious households, while accelerating the expansion of Nissan’s renewed portfolio in the country.

First revealed in July 2024 as the second product in Nissan Motor India’s product offensive, the Gravite forms part of a broader roadmap that includes the Tekton SUV in mid-2026 and a 7-seater C-SUV in early 2027. Together, these launches reaffirm Nissan’s long-term commitment to strengthening and diversifying its presence in the Indian market.

The name Gravite is inspired by “gravity,” symbolising balance, stability, and strong attraction. It reflects Nissan’s vision of creating vehicles that anchor families through comfort, connectivity, and superior flexibility. Drawing inspiration from India’s vast diversity, Gravite is positioned as a companion for aspirational, multi-use lifestyles.

Inside, the Gravite emphasizes class-leading cabin space and innovative storage solutions. Ultra-modular seating layouts allow effortless transitions between passenger and cargo needs, making it equally suitable for daily commuting and long family journeys. Every element is engineered for intuitive use and flexibility.

The All-New Gravite will be manufactured locally in Chennai, reinforcing Nissan Motor India’s “Made for India” approach. As a core pillar of the brand’s rejuvenation plan, Gravite represents a decisive step in Nissan’s product renaissance.

The Gravite adopts Nissan’s global design language with a bold C-shaped front grille, strong horizontal proportions, and a confident, muscular stance. Unique hood branding and rear-door badging exclusive to this segment enhance its visual identity. The rear design continues Nissan’s signature C-shaped interlock theme, ensuring strong road presence.

Mr. Massimiliano Messina, Chairperson of Nissan AMIEO, said, that, “India continues to be a strong contributor to AMIEO’s performance, and Nissan Motor India plays a pivotal role in our strategy. Over FY25, we have strengthened our business operations, expanded our portfolio, and delivered on every promise made under our 2024 product offensive. The upcoming line-up—shaped by global insights yet deeply attuned to the needs of Indian customers—reflects our commitment to this dynamic market. With new models developed in and for India, and exports to several international markets, India remains both a growth driver and a strategic hub for the Renault–Nissan Alliance. The reveal of the Gravite demonstrates our continued momentum and reinforces our confidence in the road ahead.”

Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, said, that, “The All-New Gravite is a testament to Nissan Motor India’s renewed focus on the evolving Indian market. Deeply rooted in the fabric of the country, it is designed to be the perfect companion for the diverse needs of our customers. As the second model in our all-new product line-up, the Gravite marks a pivotal step in our transformation journey and reinforces our commitment to delivering vehicles that resonate with the aspirations of Indian consumers.”
