YOKOHAMA, Japan - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, a major global automaker, has officially launched the all-new Elgrand in Japan, with sales beginning on July 16. First revealed at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, the fourth-generation premium minivan introduces a complete redesign focused on luxury, advanced electrified technology and enhanced driving performance.

The new Elgrand is powered by Nissan's third-generation e-POWER hybrid system, paired with the latest e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive technology and Intelligent Dynamic Suspension. Together, these systems deliver smoother acceleration, improved fuel efficiency, quieter operation and enhanced ride comfort while maintaining the engaging driving characteristics that have defined the Elgrand.

Designed under the concept of "The Private MAGLEV," the new model features a larger body, a bold exterior and a modern interpretation of Japanese craftsmanship. Signature Kumiko-inspired grille elements, full-width LED lighting, exclusive alloy wheels and five premium exterior colour options reinforce its flagship positioning. Inside, the cabin offers a lounge-like atmosphere with premium materials, a 14.3-inch integrated digital display, customizable 64-colour ambient lighting and TailorFit™ seating designed for long-distance comfort.

The third-generation e-POWER system combines a newly developed 1.5-litre engine with a compact 5-in-1 electric powertrain, delivering refined electric-motor driving while improving efficiency and reducing cabin noise. The upgraded e-4ORCE system enhances stability, cornering performance and ride quality by intelligently controlling power distribution between the front and rear wheels.

To suit different driving conditions, the Elgrand offers six selectable drive modes—Eco, Standard, Sport, Comfort, Snow and Personal—allowing drivers to tailor performance and comfort according to road conditions and personal preferences.

Passenger comfort has also been significantly improved with Zero Gravity seats across all rows, spacious interior packaging, Advanced Active Noise Control, Smooth Stop braking technology and an available 22-speaker Bose premium audio system. Flexible seating layouts, expanded luggage capacity, multiple 100V power outlets, wireless smartphone charging and practical storage solutions further enhance everyday usability.

The all-new Elgrand is equipped with Nissan's latest ProPILOT driver assistance technologies, including ProPILOT with Navi-link, Traffic Jam Hands-Off Mode, Lane Change Support, ProPILOT Park, Intelligent Distance Control and an upgraded Intelligent Around View Monitor, providing higher levels of safety, convenience and driver confidence.

With its combination of premium design, advanced hybrid technology, enhanced comfort and intelligent safety features, the all-new Elgrand strengthens Nissan's position in Japan's luxury MPV segment and aims to compete more aggressively against established rivals in the premium family vehicle market.
