Nissan Launches the All-New GRAVITE

Gurugram - Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., an automotive manufacturer, has launched the all-new GRAVITE in India. It is a 7-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) marks a fresh phase for Nissan in the Indian market, highlighting the company’s focus on offering products tailored to local customer needs. The GRAVITE will be manufactured at the Chennai plant and introduced at an attractive starting price.

The name “GRAVITE” reflects the strength and diversity of India’s 1.4 billion people. Developed as a purpose-built C-SUV, the model combines space, practicality, comfort and versatility to support both daily commuting and family travel. It builds on the success of the Nissan Magnite, which is exported from India to multiple global markets, and forms part of Nissan’s broader India roadmap that includes the upcoming Tekton C-SUV in mid-2026 and a new 7-seater C-SUV planned for early 2027.

The all-new GRAVITE features a bold and confident design aligned with Nissan’s global styling language. Strong proportions, muscular body lines, prominent wheel arches and high ground clearance provide a commanding road presence suited for Indian conditions. Exterior highlights include signature C-shaped design elements, a piano black grille, LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, LED taillamps, roof rails and wide-opening doors for added convenience.

Designed with family needs in mind, the GRAVITE offers flexible seating for up to seven passengers. The removable third-row seats allow luggage capacity to expand up to 625 litres, enhancing practicality. A spacious cabin layout, thoughtful storage solutions and an air-conditioning system optimized for tropical climates ensure comfort on both short city drives and long journeys.

The GRAVITE comes equipped with modern features including a 20.3 cm floating infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™, wireless charging, a 17.7 cm fully digital instrument cluster, auto-locking doors and front and rear parking sensors. Safety is a key focus, with more than 30 standard safety features. Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Brake Assist System (BAS) and ABS with EBD enhance stability, control and overall driving confidence.

Powering the GRAVITE is a 1.0-litre petrol engine delivering 72 PS at 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3,400–3,600 rpm. The engine is tuned for smooth and efficient performance across city and highway conditions. Customers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed EZ-Shift automated manual transmission (AMT), offering a balance of convenience and fuel efficiency.

For a limited period, Nissan will also offer a special Launch Edition of the GRAVITE featuring distinctive styling elements, premium audio enhancements and upgraded interior features.
