Yokohama, Japan- Nissan., has unveiled the all-new 2027 Rogue Hybrid for the US market, introducing its e-POWER hybrid technology to one of the brand’s best-known SUV nameplates. The new model combines a bold design, advanced technology and an electric-motor-driven powertrain.

The Rogue Hybrid builds on the success of the Rogue, which has recorded nearly four million sales across three generations. The new model is part of Nissan’s strategy to strengthen its position in the US market and expand its electrified vehicle portfolio.

The SUV features Nissan’s e-POWER hybrid system, which uses electric motors to drive the wheels, while the petrol engine generates electricity. Unlike conventional hybrids, the petrol engine is not mechanically connected to the wheels, providing an electric-vehicle-like driving experience without requiring external charging.

Nissan has developed the e-POWER technology over three generations. Since its introduction in 2016, nearly two million e-POWER-equipped vehicles have been sold across 68 markets worldwide.

According to Ponz Pandikuthira, Senior Vice President and Chief Product and Planning Officer at Nissan Americas, the new Rogue Hybrid combines the practicality and technology of the existing Rogue with improved efficiency and responsive acceleration. The electric motors deliver instant torque, while the powertrain is designed to provide a quieter and smoother driving experience.

The 2027 Rogue Hybrid represents an important step in Nissan’s electrification strategy, offering US customers another option for efficient everyday driving. The model also highlights the company’s continued focus on hybrid technology alongside its battery-electric vehicle range.
