Paris, FRANCE - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, an automobile manufacturer, has introduced the all-new all-electric JUKE, strengthening its electrification strategy for Europe. Unveiled at the company’s Vision event in Japan, the new model reflects Nissan’s focus on expanding its EV lineup to meet evolving customer demand in Europe’s growing and increasingly competitive electric vehicle market.
The all-new electric JUKE brings Nissan’s bold design language into the EV era, reinterpreting one of Europe’s most distinctive compact crossovers with a fresh zero-emission identity. Agile, compact and instantly recognisable, the model reflects Nissan’s wider ambition to provide electrified powertrain options for every type of customer.
Since its debut in 2010, the JUKE has won over 1.5 million customers across Europe and played a major role in shaping the compact crossover segment with its unconventional styling and strong character. The latest generation preserves that unique appeal while introducing a fully electric drivetrain, supporting Nissan’s long-term transition toward zero-emission mobility.
The new JUKE EV will join Nissan’s expanding electric vehicle portfolio in Europe, which already includes the new MICRA, third-generation LEAF, Ariya crossover and Townstar light commercial vehicle, with an additional A-segment EV also planned. Like the new LEAF, the JUKE EV will feature Vehicle-to-Grid technology, helping connect electric vehicles with the broader energy ecosystem.
At the same time, Nissan continues to offer its e-POWER hybrid technology, which delivers an EV-like driving experience without the need for external charging. Models such as the Qashqai e-POWER and JUKE HEV will remain key parts of the brand’s lineup, ensuring customers can choose the electrified solution that best matches their current needs.
Massimiliano Messina, Chairman of Nissan AMIEO, said Europe remains at the heart of Nissan’s electrification strategy and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to a fully electric future. He noted that Nissan’s growing EV lineup will bring more choice and innovation across segments, supported by its strong regional design, engineering and manufacturing presence, while helping accelerate the transition to zero-emission mobility.
The all-new electric JUKE will be produced at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK, reinforcing the facility’s importance within the company’s global EV plans. Already known as the production site for the LEAF, Sunderland is set to begin the first trial phase of JUKE production in the coming weeks, further strengthening its role in Nissan’s European electric manufacturing network.
This effort is backed by Nissan’s wider regional capabilities across the UK, Spain and Germany, where the company maintains a strong design, engineering and development footprint. Together, these operations reflect Nissan’s long-term commitment to Europe as both a manufacturing base and an innovation hub, creating vehicles tailored for European customers.
Clíodhna Lyons, Region Vice President for Product, Brand and Marketing Strategy at Nissan AMIEO, said the JUKE has always represented bold design and a willingness to challenge convention. With its third generation, she said, that spirit is now being carried into the electric age, with the first fully electric JUKE expected to attract new customers while broadening Nissan’s electrified offering.
The third-generation JUKE was officially revealed at Nissan’s Vision Event in Japan, where the company showcased its long-term strategy, future product roadmap and latest technology developments to global media, stakeholders and employees. The all-new JUKE is scheduled to launch in spring 2027.
