Nokian Expands VF Flotation Tire Range

Nokia, Finland - Nokian Tyres., a tyre manufacturer, has expanded its Float King VF flotation tire family with five new R26.5 sizes, giving farmers and contractors more options to improve field efficiency, carry heavier loads and reduce soil compaction.

The Float King VF range uses Nokian Flexforce VF technology, featuring a steel-belted flexible carcass structure that meets the VF, or Very High Flexion, standard. This allows the tires to operate at lower inflation pressures while carrying heavy loads, helping protect soil structure and maintain better field conditions.

The technology also provides a larger and more evenly distributed ground contact area. This wider footprint helps optimize ground pressure distribution, especially on soft, sensitive and moisture-variable soils. In addition, the tire’s deep tread pattern is designed to deliver reliable grip and strong self-cleaning performance in challenging field operations.

The expansion into key R26.5 sizes strengthens the Float King VF portfolio and responds to growing demand for solutions that support yield reliability, lower operating costs and more efficient agricultural work.

The five new sizes available immediately are VF600/55R26.5, VF620/60R26.5, VF650/55R26.5, VF650/65R26.5 and VF710/50R26.5.

With the latest additions, the Nokian Float King VF tire family is now available in ten common sizes, including existing options VF750/60R30.5, VF850/50R30.5, VF800/60R32, VF710/55R34 and VF800/50R34.
