Ohio, USA - Nordson Precision Agriculture, which includes the ARAG product line, has acquired U.S.-based agricultural technology company CapstanAG, strengthening its position in the North American market.

CapstanAG is widely recognized for its Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology, which enhances liquid application efficiency through nozzle-by-nozzle control in agricultural spraying. Its solutions help improve spray accuracy and reduce waste across row crops, orchards, seeding operations, and aerial spraying applications.

Mr. Daniel Neves, Vice President of Nordson Precision Agriculture, said, “The acquisition marks an important milestone in the company’s growth strategy. He noted that CapstanAG enhances Nordson’s fluid-management portfolio and broadens its reach in North America, allowing the company to better support customers with advanced precision agriculture technologies.”

Mr. Jeff Grimm, Director of Operations at CapstanAG, said, “The combination of CapstanAG and ARAG will create benefits for both customers and employees by providing access to a wider global infrastructure. He added that stronger component sourcing and manufacturing capabilities will help improve customer service and product delivery.”

CapstanAG brings specialized expertise and close relationships with equipment manufacturers and agricultural operators across North America. Its customer-focused approach aligns with Nordson’s Ascend strategy, which is aimed at driving growth and innovation.

Integrating CapstanAG with ARAG’s existing technology platform will enable Nordson to offer a more complete and advanced range of solutions. He said the partnership supports the company’s long-term goals of serving customers more effectively, strengthening leadership in key markets, and delivering high-quality products and services.
