Canada, North America- Nova Bus Inc., a transit bus manufacturer and member of the Volvo Group, has secured an order from St. Albert Transit in Alberta for 13 new 40-foot diesel buses as part of the transit agency’s fleet renewal and expansion program.
The new buses will support increasing ridership across the Edmonton metropolitan area while strengthening St. Albert Transit’s fleet with vehicles designed for durability, reliability and operational performance.
The latest contract expands the partnership between Nova Bus and St. Albert Transit. The manufacturer has already delivered 19 buses, and the new order will increase the total number of Nova Bus vehicles added to the transit network since 2025 to 32 units.
The investment forms part of St. Albert Transit’s efforts to modernize its public transportation fleet and maintain reliable and efficient services as transportation demand in the region continues to evolve.
