Mumbai- NRB Bearings Limited (NRB)., has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Unitec S.r.L. and Mondial S.p.A., both companies incorporated in Italy and part of the Mondial Group (together referred to as the “Unitec Group”), to set up a joint venture company in India.

Unitec is recognized as one of Italy’s reputed independent bearing manufacturers, producing industrial bearings used in critical applications. The Unitec Group is known for its strong engineering expertise across a wide range of product applications, its ability to deliver customized solutions, and its long-standing partnerships with customers across Europe’s industrial segment, particularly in high-precision industrial bearings.

With more than 60 years of operating history and annual revenues exceeding €60 million, the Mondial Group has built a strong reputation in motion-technology solutions and engineered components worldwide.

Unitec supplies advanced, application-specific bearing solutions to leading OEMs in Italy and across global markets, serving multiple sectors. Its customers include Bonfiglioli (industrial gearboxes), SAME (agricultural machinery), Leonardo (defense and aerospace), ITEMA (textile machinery), and MAINA (steel manufacturing).
