Oben Electric Launches Next-Gen Rorr EZ Sigma

Bengaluru- Oben Electric Vehicles Private Limited., has unveiled the Rorr EZ Sigma, its next-generation electric commuter motorcycle, aimed at redefining urban mobility for today’s Indian rider. Building on the success of the Rorr EZ, the Sigma version brings meaningful hardware and software upgrades to enhance both daily usability and rider experience.

Designed for city riding, the Rorr EZ Sigma introduces practical features like Reverse Mode for easy maneuvering in tight spaces and a new 5-inch TFT colour display with built-in navigation, trip data, and real-time alerts for calls, messages, and music. The motorcycle also gets an ergonomically redesigned seat for better comfort during long rides and fresh graphics, including a new Electric Red colour joining Photon White, Electro Amber, and Surge Cyan.

The Rorr EZ Sigma is available in two battery options 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh, offering top speeds of 95 km/h and 0–40 km/h acceleration in just 3.3 seconds. With a powerful 52 Nm of torque, three ride modes (Eco, City, and Havoc), and an IDC range of up to 175 km, the motorcycle is designed for smooth, swift, and worry-free city commutes. It also supports fast charging, reaching 80% charge in just 1.5 hours.

At its core, the Sigma is powered by Oben’s patented LFP battery technology, delivering twice the lifespan, better thermal resistance, and high reliability across India's varying climates.

Built on Oben’s indigenous ARX frame, the Rorr EZ Sigma is purpose-tuned for Indian roads, offering a high 200 mm ground clearance, and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension for a stable and comfortable ride across varied city terrains. Engineered with a strong focus on rider safety, it features Unified Brake Assist (UBA) for precise stopping power and a Driver Alert System (DAS) that signals when the vehicle is powered on. Safety is further enhanced with 130/70-17 wide tyres for superior grip and road stability, a 230 mm water-wading depth for reliable performance on flooded roads, and intelligent security features such as geo-fencing-based theft protection, battery theft lock, and patented vandalism protection.
