Ola Electric launched its Gen 3 S1 portfolio with eight new scooters, featuring enhanced performance, battery options, and advanced tech like a mid-drive motor and dual ABS.
Date: January 31, 2025Bangalore- Ola Electric Mobility Limited., has launched its flagship model, the S1 Pro+, offering two battery options: a 5.3kWh version priced at INR 1,69,999 and a 4kWh version at INR 1,54,999. The S1 Pro is also available in two variants: a 4kWh version priced at INR 1,34,999 and a 3kWh version at INR 1,14,999. The more affordable S1 X range includes three battery options: a 2kWh version at INR 79,999, a 3kWh version at INR 89,999, and a 4kWh version at INR 99,999. Additionally, the S1 X+ variant with a 4kWh battery is priced at Rs 1,07,999. All prices are ex-showroom, and these introductory rates are available during the initial sales phase.
The new Gen 3 platform offers increased power and efficiency, featuring a mid-drive motor and an integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU). Compared to previous generations, these models deliver a 20% boost in peak power and a 20% improvement in range. Key upgrades include dual ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and brake-by-wire technology.
The S1 Pro+ (5.3 kWh) variant boasts a top speed of 141 km/h and a range of 320 km per charge. The S1 Pro (4 kWh) reaches a top speed of 125 km/h and offers a 242 km range. The S1 X+ variant, also with a 4kWh battery, shares a top speed of 125 km/h and a 242 km range. The S1X (4kWh) variant achieves 123 km/h with a 242 km range on a single charge.

Gen 2 made scooters smarter and more accessible. Now, with Gen 3, we are setting new benchmarks, taking the EV 2W industry to the next level.”
Ola Electric plans to launch MoveOS 5 in mid-February, which will include features like a smartwatch app, smart parking, and live location sharing. The Gen 3 scooters come with a standard warranty of three years or 40,000 km for both the scooter and the battery. Customers also have the option to extend the battery warranty to eight years or 125,000 km for an additional fee.
