Bengaluru-Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV and energy company, showcased its ambitious “India Inside” vision at the 2025 event in Bengaluru, reaffirming its mission to achieve complete supply chain sovereignty while building the future of clean mobility. The event highlighted Ola’s deep commitment to indigenous technology, vertical integration, and the development of world-class innovations designed, engineered, and manufactured entirely in India. One of the most significant announcements was the unveiling of Ola’s in-house developed Ferrite Motor, a breakthrough rare-earth-free technology that eliminates dependence on imported magnets with heavy rare earths (HRE). By commercialising this motor in Q3 FY26, Ola Electric is not only strengthening its supply chain resilience amid rising geopolitical risks but also setting new global benchmarks for sustainable EV component innovation. Complementing this, Ola also showcased the 4680 Bharat Cell, its indigenously developed battery technology that will power the next generation of vehicles, enabling higher energy efficiency, reduced costs, and longer driving ranges.

Expanding its electric vehicle lineup, Ola introduced the S1 Pro Sport, a high-performance electric scooter designed with sports-oriented features such as gas-charged rear suspension, wider profile tyres, 14-inch alloy wheels, and traction control modes tailored for Rain, Urban, and Track conditions. The scooter’s aerodynamic improvements, including carbon fibre detailing, aero wings, and a sculpted windscreen, enhance both ride dynamics and efficiency, while MoveOS 6 integration introduces advanced safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Alert. Powered by a 16kW motor and a 5.2kWh Bharat Cell battery, the S1 Pro Sport delivers an IDC range of 320 km and a top speed of 152 kmph, with 0–40 kmph acceleration in just 2.0 seconds. Alongside this, Ola launched the S1 Pro+, equipped with a 13kW peak motor and the same 4680 Bharat Cell, achieving an impressive 320 km IDC range and a top speed of 141 kmph. Priced competitively at ₹1,69,999 under the Freedom offer, the Pro+ makes high-performance EVs more accessible to Indian riders. Further strengthening its two-wheeler portfolio, Ola unveiled the Roadster X+, a motorcycle powered by a massive 9.1kWh Bharat Cell paired with an 11kW motor, delivering a 501 km IDC range and 0–40 kmph acceleration in 2.7 seconds, making it one of the longest-range and most efficient electric motorcycles in the country.

In a bold display of future ambition, Ola Electric also introduced its Moonshot Project Diamondhead, a high-performance motorcycle concept that redefines motorcycling with aerospace-grade composites, lightweight alloys, hub-centered steering, and AR-enabled rider interaction. The Diamondhead, which can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in just 2.0 seconds, embodies Ola’s pursuit of singularity  where design, performance, safety, and human-machine interaction converge. Targeted for a 2027 launch at a price under ₹5 lakh, this motorcycle concept represents Ola’s determination to establish India as a global hub for high-performance electric mobility.

On the technology front, Ola launched the MoveOS 6, the latest version of its AI-powered operating system developed entirely in India. MoveOS 6 enhances the rider experience with personalised coaching to improve efficiency, advanced safety features including ADAS, terrain-specific ABS, and traction control, as well as support for 11 Indian languages to make advanced EV technology more inclusive. Features like Mood Imagine+ further blend creativity and technology, allowing riders to create customised riding moods inspired by themes such as Kerala Monsoon or Rann of Kutch. Ola also revealed its Gen 4 modular EV platform, which will serve as the backbone for future products across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, drones, and even humanoids. Offering a 76% increase in peak power, 25% reduction in weight, 15% higher energy efficiency, and 41% lower cost compared to Gen 1, the platform supports future Bharat Cell formats such as 4680, 46100, and 46120, and is engineered to integrate multiple motor technologies including IPM, FeSynRM, and magnetless motors.

Through this 2025 showcase, Ola Electric has demonstrated its ability to lead the global EV revolution from India by combining deep in-house R&D, indigenously developed cell technology, rare-earth-free motors, advanced AI software, and futuristic vehicle platforms.
