New Delhi - Omega Seiki Mobility., an electric vehicle company, unveiled the M1KA 1.0 electric truck at Bharat Mobility 2025 and showcased the upcoming M1KA 3.0. Pre-bookings for the M1KA 1.0 are open, with deliveries starting in April 2025.
The M1KA 1.0 is designed to meet the evolving demands of the commercial vehicle market while contributing to India’s transition toward a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. With its innovative features and eco-conscious design, the M1KA 1.0 aims to play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of green mobility solutions across the country.
M1KA’s manufacturing is currently based in Faridabad, with a new truck production facility planned in Chakan, Pune, by late 2025. OSPL aims to boost its annual capacity from 5,000 to 25,000 units by the end of 2025.
Mr. Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki, said, “While many electric trucks on the market are equipped with advanced features, the focus in India should be on providing high- volume, cost-effective 1-1.5-ton trucks.”
India’s electric truck market is growing rapidly, fueled by sustainability goals, government incentives, and rising fuel costs. With industries shifting to eco-friendly alternatives, demand is surging for 1-tonne electric trucks, ideal for last-mile deliveries, small businesses, and urban logistics. These trucks combine affordability, practicality, and environmental advantages.
Omega Seiki also introduced the 2025 Stream City, a next-generation electric passenger vehicle. It features an on-board charger, LED headlights, IoT connectivity, RPass, TFT display compatibility, larger 12-inch wheels, and fast-charging battery options (10.2 kWh/15 kWh) that charge in just 20 minutes.
