Lincolnshire, UK – OPICO Ltd., an agricultural machinery provider, will feature Alpego’s 6m DTEK power harrow combination drill paired with the ASPro front hopper at Cereals 2025 held at Lincolnshire, UK, designed for precision and efficiency in modern agriculture.
The DTEK Rapido power harrow is built for durability, with Twin Force TEK rotors fitted with Timken taper roller bearings for enhanced reliability. The RAPIDO quick-fit drop-forged tines are available with tungsten carbide options for reduced downtime. It offers three rear roller types and optional hydraulic depth adjustment, ideal for varying soil conditions.
The seeding bar provides consistent drilling depth, with 355mm boron disc coulters mounted using a rubber shock absorber system for maintenance-free operation. Each coulter generates up to 60kg of downforce, ensuring optimal soil penetration, even in challenging conditions.
The patented Turbo Rotal impeller system ensures uniform distribution, even at low application rates, delivering consistent results on sloping ground.
The hydraulic coulter lift allows independent use of the power harrow, while the toolbar can be uncoupled within 15 minutes for standalone use.
The ASPro front hopper boasts a 1900-litre capacity and features a stainless steel Dosal electronic metering unit. This unit is capable of handling application rates as low as 2kg/ha and as high as 450kg/ha, providing flexibility for a range of agricultural needs. Rate changes are easy to make without the need to switch metering rollers, facilitated by the RDS Super control box, which also offers electronic calibration and monitoring of the metering roller, fan speed, and seed levels.
The combination drill offers even weight distribution, minimizing tractor wheelings, and enhancing stability in wet conditions. Press wheels on the ASPro front hopper help with soil consolidation.
The 6m DTEK Power Harrow Combi-Drill, alongside other Alpego solutions, will be displayed at OPICO’s stand 1017 at Cereals 2025, showcasing advanced technology for efficient seedbed preparation.
