Georgia, USA - OTR Wheel Engineering, Inc., an off-the-road (OTR) tires manufacturer, has introduced the new TrackBoss E5 rubber track for compact track loaders, designed to deliver a smoother ride while helping protect turf and other sensitive ground surfaces.
The new E5 tread uses a distinctive multi-bar pattern that blends the comfort of traditional straight-bar tread designs with the added traction of treads featuring multiple connecting points. According to OTR, the design also improves durability and helps resist cutting and chunking in demanding jobsite conditions.
The TrackBoss E5 is available in several sizes for compact track loaders, including:
- B320 x 86 x 52 with a 12.6-inch section width and 52 links
- B320 x 86 x 53 with a 12.6-inch section width and 53 links
- B400 x 86 x 52 with a 15.7-inch section width and 52 links
- B400 x 86 x 53 with a 15.7-inch section width and 53 links
- B450 x 86 x 58 with a 17.7-inch section width and 58 links
To help customers select the correct fit for their machines, OTR also offers a Track Finder tool on its website.
Michael Dembe, Vice President of Construction at OTR, said operators should not have to compromise between protecting the jobsite and maintaining strong machine performance. He added that the E5 tread is built to provide surface-friendly operation while still offering the durability and traction expected from OTR track solutions.
