Huntley, Illinois – PALFINGER., an agricultural and construction machinery manufacturer, has officially inaugurated its new $15 million North American Parts Distribution Center in Huntley, Illinois, to enhance parts availability and service support for its agricultural and construction machinery customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Strategically located near Chicago’s interstate corridors, O’Hare International Airport, and Rockford’s cargo hub, the 177,000-square-foot center houses over 60,000 spare parts covering PALFINGER’s full North American product line — including knuckle boom cranes, bucket trucks, truck-mounted forklifts, service cranes, hooklifts, cable hoists, and timber and refuse loaders.
Equipped with an advanced AutoStore robotic system, the facility is designed for speed and precision, with the capacity to process up to 75,000 shipments annually. The operation is managed in partnership with L.I.T., PALFINGER’s long-standing global logistics provider.
Mr. Andreas Klauser, Chief Executive Officer of PALFINGER, said, “Service is a growth driver for PALFINGER, and North America is one of our most important markets. The Huntley facility represents a major investment in customer uptime — it’s about speed, reliability, and demonstrating our commitment to this region.”
The new distribution center serves as the central hub for PALFINGER’s spare parts operations in North America, supporting its expanding online parts ordering platform. The company is also investing in complementary service innovations such as virtual reality training and an expanded mobile service fleet.
Mr. Ismael Daneluz, Vice President of Sales and Service for North and Latin America, said, “The Huntley facility underscores our focus on delivering exceptional service. Our mission is simple — to ensure customers get what they need, when they need it, keeping their equipment running at peak performance.”
