Puducherry -Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., has launched the Apé E-City SWAP electric three-wheeler in Puducherry, expanding its electric commercial vehicle portfolio in the region. The new model is designed to support sustainable urban mobility with swappable battery technology and connected features.

The Apé E-City SWAP is developed in partnership with Indofast Energy, enabling quick battery replacement through the company's battery-swapping network. The electric three-wheeler is powered by a 7.4 kW electric motor that delivers 32 Nm of peak torque and offers a driving range of approximately 110 km on a single battery cycle.

The vehicle is also equipped with 4G telematics, allowing fleet operators to monitor vehicle performance, location, and operational efficiency.

As part of the launch, M/s Future Automobiles, Piaggio's authorised dealer in Puducherry, has introduced 'EV Everywhere', a fleet rental service with an initial deployment of 20 Apé E-City SWAP vehicles to support urban transportation.

The launch strengthens Piaggio's commitment to expanding zero-emission commercial mobility solutions across India.
