New Delhi- PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Private Limited., an electric commercial vehicle manufacturer marked a major step towards a Green Viksit Bharat with two key initiatives on World Environment Day. Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 200 electric DEVi buses in Delhi, boosting India’s zero-emission mobility efforts, and planted a Banyan sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative to promote biodiversity and climate resilience.
Aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision, PMI also launched its ‘Green Routes’ campaign by distributing 10,000 eco-friendly seed cards containing Basil and Wildflower seeds. Citizens were encouraged to plant the seeds and share their efforts on social media, fostering community participation in building a cleaner, greener India.

With today’s flag-off, PMI Electro Mobility now operates over 2,500 electric buses across 31 cities, across the country. These e-buses are estimated to cut over 250,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually, totalling more than 3 million metric tons over their lifecycle.
