Haryana- PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Private Limited of Haryana, a manufacturer of electric vehicles having technical tie up with Beiqi Foton Motors, China had received a contract from Rajkot Municipal Corporation in Gujarat for providing, maintaining, and operating 100 electric buses for 10 years. This is an extension to the lowest bid quoted in the tender, tender was floated in Feb 2022.
PMI had supplied 50 buses in Aug 2022, another 100 buses of 9m bus will be added to Rajkot municipal.
PMI Foton 9m Midi Bus is powered with Permanent magnet statis motor generates max power of 135 Kw and toque of 1800 Nm 2. Battery capacity is 100Kwh and it can charge within 30 to 45 mins. The monocoque structure having 30seating capacity and it is fitted with air suspension. Floor height can be varied with 650mm and 900mm based on their requirements. These buses are equipped with advanced features such as CCTV cameras, RTMS (real-time monitoring system), and several other safety provisions.

1PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Private Limited is incorporated in 2017 with a tie up of Beiqi Foton Motors, China. PMI electro mobility is currently assembling the kits from China and planned to manufacture at Pune from 2023.
