Grieskirchen, Austria - POTTINGER Landtechnik GmbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has launched the Liquido F, a new front-mounted silage additive tank designed to improve forage quality while offering multiple farm applications.
The system applies lactic acid bacteria solution directly and evenly to the forage flow between the pick-up and rotor, ensuring optimal silage fermentation. Compatible with various brands of loader wagons and balers, the Liquido F provides flexibility and ease of use.
Available in two versions, the Liquido F 2000 offers an application rate of 40 to 245 l/h, while the premium Liquido F 3000 can be expanded to 470 l/h with additional nozzles. Both models feature a digital flowmeter, with the F 3000 adding automatic flow regulation, speed-based dosing, and nozzle activation based on operating conditions.
For convenience, the unit houses three tanks – a main tank (200 or 400 liters), a fresh water tank, and a hand-washing tank – simplifying mixing, filling, and cleaning. The F 3000 also includes an integrated cleaning nozzle.
Beyond additive application, the Liquido F doubles as a front bumper and ballast, enhancing safety with integrated lighting and adjustable width between 2.55 and 2.85 m. Other features include a level indicator, jaw hitch, toolbox, and optional work lights and storage rollers.
With its combination of silage efficiency, ease of handling, and multifunctional design, the Liquido F offers farmers a versatile solution for modern forage harvesting.
