PowerGo’s opened 100% solar energy based charging hub in Europe.
578 views | Date: September 10, 2024Denmark-PowerGo, the fast and sustainable charging solutions provider has launched its ultra-fast charging hub in Denmark with seven 400 kilowatt chargers, ensuring that fourteen EV drivers can charge at the same time. The charging location is located along highway E20, which is part of Europe’s central transport network (TEN-T).
PowerGo works with 100 percent solar energy, generated from solar parks operated by its parent company PowerField.
Mr.Frederikke Fog, Tender Manager PowerGo, said, “We are working hard to ensure that EV drivers can charge their vehicles quickly, easily and conveniently on long journeys. It is crucial that we install fast chargers at traffic junctions in Denmark, because this makes it even more attractive for Danes to choose the electric vehicle as their preferred means of transportation.
We must do everything to accelerate the green transition. We are proud that we can help expand the public charging infrastructure – not only in Denmark, but throughout Europe. We want EV drivers to experience that charging their vehicles is accessible, flexible, and green."
The new charging location has six parking spaces that can accommodate longer vehicles such as cars with trailers, including camping trailers, or cars adapted for people with disabilities.
The PowerGo’s, ensuring that EV drivers have significantly better opportunities to charge their electric vehicles. As part of this initiative, PowerGo has won eighteen tenders to install over 1.600 public charging points in Denmark.
When drivers charge with PowerGo, they experience dynamic charging prices. These are fair and transparent prices that follow the hourly market price on electricity. EV drivers can pay with their charging card, debit or credit card, or with the free PowerGo Charge app.
