Québec, Canada- RIZON, Daimler Truck AG’s all-electric commercial truck brand, is expanding its presence in Québec with the launch of seven new sales centers under an accelerated provincial growth strategy. This expansion comes as Québec reopens its Écocamionnage incentive program, through which eligible RIZON customers can receive up to CAD 100,000 in provincial funding to support the adoption of zero-emission freight vehicles.
The new sales centers will be located across the Greater Montréal area, Québec City, and Northeastern Québec, giving fleet operators broader local access to RIZON’s all-electric Class 4 and Class 5 commercial trucks, along with sales, servicing, and deployment assistance.
Mr. Alex Voets, General Manager of RIZON North America, said the reopening of Écocamionnage creates a significant opportunity for Québec fleets to move more quickly toward zero-emission trucking. He added that the addition of seven new sales centers will make it easier for operators across the province to access RIZON trucks, supported by local expertise in charging, incentives, and fleet deployment.
RIZON is a dedicated all-electric commercial truck brand focused on zero-emission transport solutions. The brand was publicly unveiled at the ACT Expo in May 2023 and now has vehicles operating across roads in both Canada and the United States.
Its trucks support two charging options: DC fast charging through a CCS1 connector and Level 2 AC charging through a J1772 connector, offering flexibility for different fleet charging needs.
For Canadian customers, RIZON’s Class 4–5 medium-duty battery-electric trucks are offered in gross vehicle weight ranges from 15,995 lbs. to 18,850 lbs. Depending on the battery configuration, the vehicles can deliver a range of up to 177 km for the M-size version with two battery packs, and up to 257 km for the L-size version with three battery packs on a single charge.
