Date: July 17, 2024Chennai - Royal Enfield., a motorcycle manufacturing company, a unit of Eicher Motors Limited., has finally launched the Guerrilla 450 for sale in India. This model is the second after the Himalayan to be based on the Sherpa 450 engine platform.
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is priced at Rs 2,39,000 (ex-showroom, introductory), Bookings are now open in India, the UK, and Europe, with deliveries starting in August 2024. Available in three variants: Flash, Dash and Analogue. The flash variant will be offered in two colours Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon. The dash variant will have two colours - Gold Dip and Playa Back. Lastly, the Analogue offered in two colours - Smoke and Playa Black.

The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39.47 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch, and it also includes a ride-by-wire system.
The Guerrilla features a steel tubular frame with the engine as a stressed member. It includes a 43 mm telescopic fork with 140 mm of travel at the front and a linkage-type monoshock with 150 mm of travel at the rear. Alloy wheels (120/70-17 front, 160/60-17 rear) provide stability, while braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc with twin-piston caliper and a 270 mm rear disc. Weighing 185 kg (kerb weight), it offers a ground clearance of 169 mm and a manageable seat height of 780 mm, ideal for urban riding.
In terms of features, the top variants boast a 4-inch circular TFT screen with integrated Google Maps and media controls, along with full LED lighting and a USB Type-C charging port. The base variant includes a digi-analogue instrument console similar to RE's 650 cc models, with an optional Tripper navigation pod available.
