Detroit, United States- RVshare., a community for RV owners and renters, debuts a new partnership with electric RV startup, Grounded, to bring a Electric Recreational Vehicle rental program to the Detroit market. Grounded RVs is the first electric vehicle fleet on the platform thanks to these rentals, which are only accessible through RVshare. Through a fleet of E-RVs that are available for daily rental, this program, which is also funded by the Michigan Office for Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME), will offer environmentally friendly travel options for visitors in a historically disadvantaged city.
Renters have access to eco-friendly transportation through this exclusive partnership with Grounded, as well as an opportunity to directly influence future versions of the E-RV program and product development. The "G1 models" are constructed using zero-emissions technology, achieving more general sustainability goals that complement the OFME's aim, and doing so at a reasonable price. The starting price for each of the three G1 electric camper vans on RVshare for a 24-hour rental is $199.
