Georgia, USA – Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a construction equipment manufacturer, has introduced the SY35U, SY50U, SY60C and SY80U mini excavators, offering operating weights from 3.7 to 8.8 metric tons and Yanmar diesel engines across the range.
The new machines feature swing booms and load-sensing hydraulic systems, designed to improve cycle times, breakout performance and lifting capability. Three models — the SY35U, SY50U and SY80U — feature zero-tail-swing designs, while the SY60C uses a conventional tail configuration.
The SY35U, the smallest model, is powered by a 22.1-hp Yanmar engine and offers a digging depth of 10 ft 3 in. Available with either a cab or ROPS canopy, it includes a four-way angle blade, auxiliary hydraulics, quick-coupler plumbing and LED lighting.
Moving up the range, the SY50U uses a 45.2-hp Yanmar engine and provides an 11-ft 3-in digging depth. Designed for grading, trenching and utility applications, the zero-tail-swing machine features auto idle, a four-way blade with float function and a multifunction monitor.
The SY60C is powered by a 55.1-hp Yanmar engine and offers a 13-ft 1-in digging depth. It features a climate-controlled ROPS/FOPS cab, touchscreen display with backup camera, auxiliary hydraulics and a dozer blade with float function.
At the top of the new range, the SY80U has an operating weight of 8.8 metric tons and a 67.9-hp Yanmar engine. The zero-tail-swing excavator delivers a digging depth of 14 ft 11 in and ground-level reach of 23 ft 4 in. Standard equipment includes a climate-controlled cab, rubber tracks, independent boom swing, auxiliary hydraulics, advanced display and Bluetooth connectivity.
The four-model launch strengthens Sany’s compact excavator offering for North American construction, landscaping, utility, grading and site-preparation applications.
