Pune - SANY Heavy Industry India Pvt. Ltd., a construction and mining equipment manufacturer, has launched the SKT105E Electric Dump Truck, the first electric dump truck to be locally manufactured in India. The launch event, held at Sany India’s state-of-the-art facility, was graced by Mr. Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Sany India & South Asia, along with distinguished guests and industry experts.
The SANY SKT105E Electric Dump Truck is a high-performance, zero-emission mining vehicle with a 72-tonne payload, 820 kW power output, and a 396-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery offering up to 160 km range. It features fast 1-hour charging, a robust suspension system, advanced telematics, and intelligent controls, making it ideal for sustainable, heavy-duty mining operations.
The SKT105E Electric Dump Truck ushers in a new era of mining technology by blending global innovation with local manufacturing expertise. Built for the demanding conditions of open-cast mining, this fully electric off-highway dump truck offers outstanding energy efficiency and cost savings. With a robust payload capacity of 70 tonnes, it is a powerful and reliable solution for mining operations across India.
