Scania India appoints a new managing director

Karnataka- Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd., has appointed Mr. Silvio Munhoz as the new managing director, effective September 1, 2024. Munhoz, who brings decades of automotive industry experience, succeeds Johan P. Schlyter.

Silvio Munhoz’s leadership journey includes roles like managing director of Codema and interim president and CEO of Scania Brazil. Known for his strategic vision, customer focus, and dedication to sustainable innovation, Munhoz has driven success in various markets. His appointment as managing director of Scania India signals a new phase in the company’s growth, emphasizing advanced transport solutions and enhanced sustainability efforts in the region.
