Schmitz Cargobull acquires 48% Stake in GT Trailers

Schmitz Cargobull acquires a 48% stake in GT Trailers to boost high-volume trailer solutions, enhance innovation, and expand market share.

Münsterland, Germany- Schmitz Cargobull AG., a manufacturer of semi-trailers, trailers, and bodies based, has signed an agreement to acquire a 48% stake in GNIOTPOL Trailers LTD., a producer of high-volume sets and trailers from the Opole region in Poland. The partnership aims to combine their expertise in designing and manufacturing superstructures on rigid chassis, including tarpaulin, box, and refrigerated solutions. The transaction is pending approval from the relevant competition authorities.
