Vreden, Germany – Schmitz Cargobull AG., a trailer manufacturer, has appointed Dr. Cafer Ince as the new Head of Product Line Digital Services, effective January 1, 2025. In this expanded role, Dr. Ince will oversee operations at the company's subsidiaries, Cargobull Telematics GmbH and KUBIKx. He takes over from Nikolaos Keramopoulos, who has decided to leave the company by his own request. Dr. Ince's appointment marks a significant milestone in the company’s continued focus on digital innovation and connected services.
Having joined Schmitz Cargobull in January 2024 as Head of E/E (Electrics/Electronics) Systems, Dr. Ince brings extensive expertise in digital technologies and data-driven services to his new position. His deep knowledge in electrics, electronics, and digital innovations makes him an ideal fit to lead the company’s digital services strategy. Dr. Ince will continue to report directly to Marnix Lannoije, the company’s Chief Technical Officer, in his new role.

After studying precision engineering, Dr. Ince began his career at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart-Schwieberdingen, in 2005. In a range of management roles, he has also gained international experience in countries such as England, Japan, China, the Philippines, Turkey and the USA. Before joining Schmitz Cargobull, he was Vice President for the Business Chief Digital Office Mobility Solutions.
