Rijssen, Netherlands – Schuitemaker Machines B.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has unveiled the latest evolution of its renowned Rapide loader wagon line with the launch of the Rapide XC 9.000 series, featuring major upgrades in cutting precision, crop flow, and overall machine efficiency.
The new XC 9.000 series is a completely redesigned rotor housing, equipped with an impressive 80 knives capable of delivering a cutting length of just 24 mm. This significant improvement is paired with the updated 2.10-meter-wide PowerRotor Pro, which ensures smooth and efficient crop intake.
Another highlight is the 2.40-meter-wide pick-up unit, which boasts a 3D contour suspension system. This feature enables the pick-up to follow ground contours precisely, ensuring consistent cutting quality even on uneven terrain. Additionally, the use of 4 mm blades allows for the integration of 30 extra knives, maximizing cutting efficiency. Schuitemaker’s patented cutting geometry further reduces the power requirement, increasing fuel efficiency without compromising performance.
Long known as a dual-purpose vehicle, the Rapide loader wagon continues to deliver on its legacy of durability and versatility. The newly developed XC series builds on that reputation with a refined integration of the rotor housing, cutting device, and trailing pick-up — working in harmony to provide an optimal crop flow throughout the machine.
A standout feature of the Rapide XC is its hydraulically movable front panel, which incorporates the patented RapidRelease system. This innovation significantly boosts the machine’s overall capacity. The reverse direction of the rotor’s rotation pushes the crop toward the front wall, resulting in uniform and optimal wagon filling.
With the first Rapide XC wagons already in operation, Schuitemaker reinforces its position as a leader in forage wagon innovation — offering farmers and contractors a high-performance, high-capacity solution for modern harvesting demands.
