Bengaluru- Simple Energy Private Limited., has launched the new Simple Wave electric scooter in India, marking the company’s entry into the family scooter segment. The new range focuses on everyday comfort, practicality and technology, with an IDC range of up to 243 km.
The Simple Wave offers up to 70 litres of storage space, including a 4-litre auxiliary compartment, up to 63-litre under-seat storage and a 3-litre glove box. The lineup includes the Wave S, Wave and Wave+, with different battery capacities, display technologies and connected features.
The top-end Simple Wave+ is equipped with a 5 kWh battery and offers an IDC range of 243 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. It uses a 6.4 kW PMSM motor producing 179 Nm of wheel torque. Other battery options include 3.7 kWh, 2.7 kWh and 2.2 kWh.
The scooters come with Ride, Eco and ECOX riding modes, while higher variants also get Sport mode. The different versions are designed to meet the daily riding requirements of Indian families.
