Bengaluru- Simple Energy Private Limited., an electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its electric two-wheeler lineup with the launch of the Simple OneS, a high-performance electric scooter Engineered for urban commuters, the Simple OneS blends affordability, performance, and advanced technology, positioning itself as a formidable player in India’s rapidly growing electric two-wheeler market.
Powered by an 8.5 kW PMSM motor and a fixed 3.7 kWh battery, the Simple OneS delivers an IDC-certified range of 181 km and a top speed of 105 km/h, making it one of the most powerful scooters in its segment. It also offers rapid acceleration, reaching 0-40 km/h in just 2.55 seconds in Sonic mode. Riders can choose from four riding modes—Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic—for a tailored riding experience. The 7-inch touchscreen dashboard with 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity provides turn-by-turn navigation, call management, and OTA updates. Regenerative braking, tire pressure monitoring, and Find My Vehicle functionality enhance safety, while Park Assist (forward & reverse movement) ensures effortless maneuvering. Additionally, the 35-liter under-seat storage and four vibrant color options—Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red—make the Simple OneS both stylish and practical.
Simple Energy plans to phase out its entry-level Simple Dot One to focus on flagship models: the Simple One Gen 1.5 and the newly launched Simple OneS. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, with an annual capacity of 150,000 units.
With India’s EV market surging due to rising fuel costs and government incentives (e.g., FAME-II), Simple Energy is expanding its retail network, planning to launch 150 new stores and 200 service centers across 23 states by FY2026.
In February 2025, the company introduced the Gen 1.5 version of its flagship model, featuring a record-breaking 248 km range, the longest for any electric two-wheeler in India.
