Sindbad expands its fleet with 22 New coaches from Daimler Buses

Opole, Poland- Sindbad sp. z o.o., a Private Travel Agency, has officially received 22 brand-new coaches from Daimler Buses Polska Sp. z o.o., a commercial vehicle manufacture. The delivery includes a mix of 12 Setra coaches (half of which are the impressive S531DT double-decker buses) and 10 of the highly popular Mercedes-Benz Tourismo models in poland, a favorite traveller for years.

The importance of this event was highlighted by the presence of several high-profile from Daimler Buses. Mr. Mirko Sgodda, Director of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, Mr. Roman Biondi, Head of Sales at Daimler Buses Europe, and Mr. Artur Konarski, President of the Management Board of Daimler Buses Polska, were all on hand to ceremoniously present the key to Mr. Ryszard Wójcik, President of Sindbad sp. z o.o.

Mr. Mirko Sgodda, Director of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service, said, "40 years of Sindbad's great history also mean 30 years of beautiful cooperation with Setra and Mercedes-Benz. We are pleased that it is one hundred percent in line with the goals that accompany Daimler Buses in bus production."

The newly acquired buses are part of Sindbad’s ongoing strategy to modernize its fleet, replacing older vehicles with those equipped with Euro 6 engines. This upgrade reflects Sindbad's commitment to environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. The Setra coaches, in particular, boast the latest safety systems, including the cutting-edge Active Drive Assist 2 (ADA 2) system, which helps keep the bus in an adjustable target position within the lane a significant advancement towards autonomous driving.

Additionally, all of the new coaches are equipped with modern amenities such as 230V + USB sockets and Wi-Fi, ensuring that passengers enjoy a comfortable and connected travel experience, a hallmark of the Sindbad brand.
