Mumbai– Škoda Auto India an automotive manufacture unveils the upcoming Kylaq SUV adds yet another first to its cap. After being named via a nationwide naming campaign, the Kylaq will now be associating itself with a reputed artist for designing the camouflage for itself. Harun Robert a.k.a Rob will be conducting an interactive session with Fans of Škoda to come up with a design for the camouflage that the Kylaq will wear as it undergoes further testing in India.

Mr. Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, "Our all new Kylaq is a car intended to democratise European technology on our roads across India. I am looking forward to the initial feedback about the driving capabilities of Kylaq, which is key for us at Škoda Auto India and something that we are all very proud of. We want our customers and Fans of Škoda to be part of every milestone in this launch. Which is why we had the naming campaign, with the belief that the people of India should name our all-new SUV. Our association with the fantastic design artist Rob and our fans, who together, will come up with a camouflage for the Kylaq is the next step in this journey. The camouflage is to ensure the Kylaq stays covered when undergoing testing, and its design will reflect the diversity of the people of India.”

Harun Robert a.k.a Rob is an artist and creative visionary with a proven track record in inspiring and engaging audiences. As the creator and host a popular award-winning TV show, he has become a household name with his innovative DIY projects and infectious enthusiasm.

"Fans of Škoda," launched by Škoda Auto India in 2022, connects over 700 enthusiasts directly with the company's leadership. This growing community engages in events, provides feedback, and plays a role in key decisions, such as naming the Kylaq and designing its camouflage.

Rob is to collaborate with the Fans of Škoda over a two-day workshop to create a design for the camo that will be adorned by the upcoming Kylaq. The collaboration will see fans providing their aspirations on what they expect from Škoda’s all-new upcoming SUV.

The Kylaq, Škoda Auto India’s first compact SUV, will debut in 2025. Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, it introduces the Modern Solid design language in India. With high ground clearance and a spacious wheelbase, it’s designed for rugged terrain while offering a ‘big car’ feel in a compact form. Currently in testing and preparing for production, it follows the Kushaq (2021) and Slavia (2022) as Škoda’s third all-new model developed for India.
