Solaris Secures First US Electric Bus Deal

Solaris signs first U.S. contract to deliver two 40-foot and two 60-foot electric buses, with deliveries set for late 2026.

Washington, USA - Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o., a public transport vehicles manufacturer, has secured first U.S. contract to deliver two 40-foot battery electric buses and two 60-foot articulated buses, with an option for 12 more. Deliveries are set for the second half of 2026. The buses will feature a North America-specific electric platform, advanced battery technology, and meet all U.S. regulations, including FMVSS and ADA compliance.
