      Bolechowo-Osiedle, Poland- Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has secured new contracts with Nobina AB., a public transport operator in Sweden. has placed another significant order with Solaris for 88 electric buses, reinforcing Solaris' role in sustainable urban transport solutions. The order includes 55 units of Urbino 15 LE buses for Skåne, 15 units for Värmland, and 18 units of Urbino 18 buses for Malmö.

      Mr. Olivier Michard, Member of the Management Board for Sales and Marketing in Solaris Bus & Coach, said “These new orders mark another significant step towards greener public transport solutions in Sweden. We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Nobina and be a part of the implementation of zeroemission solutions also in suburban transportation. We believe it is crucial for the global transformation of mobility.”

      The buses chosen for Skåne and Värmland are the Solaris Urbino 15 LE electric, ideal for urban and suburban routes in Sweden. Each bus features a 240 kW central motor powered by Solaris High Energy batteries totaling 560 kWh, ensuring reliable daily operation with overnight plug-in charging. They include a Scandinavian package for tough weather and extra outside lighting for passenger convenience in low light.

      Nobina has selected the Urbino 18 electric, an articulated bus designed for Malmö.
