Punjab - International Tractors Limited (ITL)., the maker of Sonalika and Solis tractors, has reported a robust start to the financial year 2025-26 by achieving total tractor sales of 11,962 units in April 2025. This impressive performance includes both domestic and export wholesale sales, underlining the brand's consistent market presence and expanding global footprint.

The announcement was made by Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of ITL, who expressed satisfaction over the company’s performance. He emphasized that the sales milestone is a result of the company’s unwavering commitment to its “farmer-first” philosophy. According to Mittal, this guiding principle remains at the core of ITL’s strategic decisions and product innovations, aimed at empowering farmers through cutting-edge agricultural machinery.

Mr. Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of ITL, said, “Our performance in April 2025 reflects our focus on offering high-performance, heavy-duty tractors that are specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of Indian farmers. By delivering reliable and technologically advanced solutions, we are not only increasing on-field productivity but also contributing meaningfully to the agricultural economy.”

Over the past few years, Sonalika has steadily built a reputation for engineering excellence and after-sales service support. The company’s expanding portfolio, especially in the heavy-duty segment, caters to a broad spectrum of farming operations across different regions and crop patterns. ITL has also seen growing traction in international markets, boosting its export performance and enhancing India’s presence in the global tractor industry.

April’s sales achievement comes on the heels of a record-setting FY 2024–25 for Sonalika, during which the company sold 153,764 tractors, capturing a 14.8% market share - its highest to date. This strong momentum places ITL in a solid position as it enters the new financial year.

Sonalika reiterated its commitment to technological innovation, product customization, and farmer engagement, which are expected to remain key drivers of growth. By aligning its goals with the real needs of farmers, ITL aims to lead India’s tractor industry into a new era of smart and sustainable agriculture.
