Date: March 24, 2025
Munich, Germany - Steelwrist AB., a construction machinery manufacturer, launches new products at Bauma 2025, held at the Messe Munchen exhibition centre in Munich from 7 to 13 April, 2025, including the XTR15 and XTR23 tiltrotator models, SQ40 automatic coupler technology, and a variety of excavator work tools. Designed to boost efficiency, versatility, and performance, these innovations set new standards in excavation operations.
At Bauma 2025, Steelwrist will showcase its largest interactive stand yet, featuring live demos of its third-generation XTR tiltrotators, the new SQ40 automatic coupler for sub-7-ton excavators, and a variety of work tools, highlighting versatility and efficiency.
Mr. Karl Serneberg, VP OEM Sales & Marketing at Steelwrist, said, “I am really looking forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world to the Steelwrist stand at the Bauma exhibition. Our team has worked really hard to create an impressive stand where all our product news will be presented. In our live demo show visitors will experience in an interactive way the advantages with an excavator equipped with Steelwrist products.”
Steelwrist expands its third-generation XTR tiltrotator lineup at Bauma 2025 with the new XTR15 (12-15T) and XTR23 (19-23T) models. Featuring top-tier tilt geometry, the OptiLube system, and LockSense for secure tool locking, both models offer easy S-to-SQ upgrades and maintain Steelwrist’s signature low building height.
Steelwrist expands its SQ technology with the new SQ40 automatic coupler for excavators under 7 tonnes, enabling fast, in-cab hydraulic tool changes. Optimized for 70 l/min flow, SQ40 features innovative couplings and a modular design for easy upgrades from S to SQ. Compatible with the S40 standard, it allows seamless use of existing work tools.
Steelwrist expands its powered work tool range with SQ40 compatibility, including HCX compactors, MGX multi grapples, and SGX sorting grapples. The new MGX4 multi grapple, designed for 2–4 tonne excavators, bridges the gap between MGX2 and MGX6, offering versatility for construction, lifting, stone laying, sorting, and demolition.
Steelwrist introduces the TSX6 tree shear for excavators up to 7 tonnes, available with S40 and SQ40 interfaces. Designed for safe and efficient cutting, it features a fixed blade, powerful cylinder, and dual grapple arms for a secure grip. Ideal for forestry, roadside clearing, and utility maintenance, the TSX6 enhances safety by eliminating chainsaw risks while ensuring precise, low-cutting performance.
Mr. Stefan Stockhaus, CEO of Steelwrist, said, “With the introduction of SQ40 we have made sure it will be possible to easily upgrade their Steelwrist existing powered work tool from S to SQ interface, without any welding required. We also expand our range of work tools with the TSX Tree shear, a product which we will show live in our stand at Bauma.”
